I'M

Sreenivas Bttv

I build systems beyond the UI.

Frontend-first engineer who goes deeper when things don’t behave.

Most problems don’t start in the UI.

They show up there.

So I learned to go deeper — APIs, databases,
and the behaviour of systems in production.

I don’t optimize for code that works.

I think about how it behaves when data grows, systems evolve, and edge cases appear.

Milliseconds to 30 seconds.

A query that once ran in milliseconds suddenly took 30 seconds in production.
Nothing obvious changed. But the impact was real.

That’s when I learned — systems don’t fail loudly.
They degrade silently.

How I think.

– Clarity over cleverness
– Understand first
– Simple systems scale better
– Performance is a responsibility

Recently started learning to swim.

Reminding myself that being a beginner
is part of staying sharp.

If you're working on something
that doesn’t behave the way it should —

I’d be interested.
